How to Bid on CHIP Projects
Projects are advertised in local newspapers within the immediate city, town or county in which the project will be built.
CHIP is a member of the Valley Contractors Exchange in Chico therefore all plans and specifications are located at their location for prospective bidders to review.
Bidders may them submit their quote by either fax or mail to the CHIP office on or before the published bid date.
After bid date is past all bids are reviewed for completeness and accuracy. Bidders’ qualifications for proper Licensing and Insurance are researched and verified.
Most responsive bidders are determined and notification is made by phone and in writing. After further review responsive bidders will be selected and Notice of Subcontract awards will be made.
