COVID-19 Vaccine Information

 

There is a lot of information out there regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. In an effort to make things less confusing we are compiling all the updated information here. We will update this page as new information comes out. Information and how to register varies based on the county, click on your county to read the latest updates. If you have any questions or concerns about the vaccine, please review the fact sheet here: English/Spanish. You will be required to show a photo ID at your appointment. 

Shasta County:

Shasta County is currently in Phase 1b of vaccination distribution meaning that people age 65 years and older, workers in education and child care, workers in emergency services, food and agriculture workers, janitors, people age 16-64 with sever health conditions, staff and residents of detention facilities and shelters, people experiencing homelessness, and public transit/commercial airlines are qualified to recive the vaccine. Please fill out the form here to sign up to be notified when you are qualified to get a vaccine. This is not an appointment, Shasta County officials will notify you when there are vaccines available. 

Tehama County:

Click here to access the My Turn system to find out your eligibility and schedule your appointments online. Vaccines are being prioritized to health care workers and individuales 65 years old and older AND to those who live or work in Tehama County.

Butte County:

CVS Pharmacy on 260 Spruce St Gridley is now offering appointments for the COVID-19 Vaccine to health care workers and to individuals 65 years and older. Call (800) 746-7287 or visit cvs.com to schedule an appointment. Other community vacination clinics:

MyTurn Pilot | Silver Dollar Fairgrounds - Appointments available for eligible residents ages 16 and older and residents working in the following sectors: emergency services, education & childcare, agriculture, food and healthcare workers. Limited Appointments for March 5th. To book an appointment click here or call 1-833-422-4255. Proof of employment for eligible sectors is required and may include: pay stub, ID badge, or letter on company letterhead indicating employment. Please note: residents who book a vaccination appointment through a community or hospital vaccination clinic that utilizes the MyTurn, the State’s scheduling system, will need to check the ’65-74’ age range option to get the scheduling process started. This is due to a current limitation within the State’s online scheduling system. You will then be prompted to enter your date of birth at which time you will enter your actual date of birth (the 65-74 age option is only to get the process started, use your real date of birth after that point).

Yuba County:

Yuba County is currently only offering vaccines to Phase 1A-healthcare workers, residents age 65 years and older, and those age 50-64 that are front line sectors of Food/Agriculture, Education/Childcare and Emergency Service Workers who work in Yuba County. Registration opens every Wednesday at 9am, click here to register. Other general public clinics include Franklin Pharmacy, Riverside Pharmacy, Sutter Pharmacy,  and SafeSave Pharmacy. If you are an established patient of the following centers there may be further vaccine clinics available to you: Adventist-Rideout, Sutter North, Ampla Health, Peach Tree Health, Harmony Health, SafeSave Pharmacy, and Sutter Pharmacy. If you need assistance with the registration process please call (530) 634-7496.

Sutter County:

Sutter County is currently only offering vaccines to PPhase 1A-healthcare workers, residents age 65 years and older, and those age 50-64 that are front line sectors of Food/Agriculture, Education/Childcare and Emergency Service Workers who work in Yuba County. Registration opens every Wednesday at 9am, click here to register. Clinics that are open to the public are the County Clinic, Franklin Pharmacy, Riverside Pharmacy, SafeSave Pharmacy, and Sutter Pharmacy. If you are an established patient of the following centers there may be further vaccine clinics available to you: Adventist Health and Rideout, Ampla Health, Harmony Health, Peach Tree Health, SafeSave Pharmacy, Sutter Health, and Sutter Pharmacy. If you need assistance with the registration process please call (530) 822-5985.

Glenn County

Glenn County is currently offering vaccines to healthcare workers, food and agriculture workers, education and childcare workers, emergency services personnel, and residents over 65 years old or persons age 16-49 years with high-risk medical conditions.
