CHICO—Celebrate Community Housing Improvement Program’s 45th Anniversary at its Rock the House Gala on Friday, November 16 at Sierra Nevada Big Room from 6-10 p.m.
This year’s theme “Through the Decades” celebrates the past 45 years with dinner, music from the 70s through today, costume contest, silent auction, no-host beer and wine bar and 50/50 raffle. More than 200 people are expected to attend. Guests are encouraged to dress in costume from their favorite decade.
Individual tickets are $75 each and will not be sold at the door. Major sponsors include Tri Counties Bank, Sierra North Valley Realtors, NeighborWorks America, Community Economics, Inc. and Pacific Gas and Electric Company. Some sponsorships are still available. Each sponsorship level includes tickets to the event and more. Sponsors of $1000 or more get VIP seating. Ticket and sponsorship sales close October 31.
Community Housing Improvement Program
CHIP is a private, non-profit corporation providing quality affordable self-help housing, rental apartment communities, farm worker housing and other housing-related services to seven Northern California counties. The organization has developed more than 2,600 housing units in the North Valley since 1973.
