The 2025-2026 CHIP Housing Educational Success Scholarship Application is Officially Open!

CHIP is committed to creating affordable housing and nurturing communities. We believe that by creating strong connections and offering resources, we can help our residents achieve their educational goals and build brighter futures.

The CHIP Housing Educational Success Scholarship awards $500 to eligible CHIP residents, homeowners, and individuals who are currently attending or will be attending a trade school, community college, or four-year university. A $250 award is available for GED applicants.

Applications are due April 30, 2025. The scholarship selection committee meets in early May 2025 and will announce recipients in late May 2025.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements

Must live in a CHIP rental property or self-help home (proof of residency will be required)
Must be currently attending or will be attending a trade school, community college, or four-year university OR applying to take the GED test (proof of registration will be required)
Must complete brief essay response and scholarship application (can be submitted in person or online to scholarship@chiphousing.org)
Applications must be turned in no later than April 30th, 2025
