WOODSTOCK’S HOSTS PIZZA FUNDRAISER FOR CHIP
CHICO—Join Woodstock’s Pizza and CHIP this Thursday, April 26 between 5-8 p.m. and help CHIP kick off its 45th anniversary. Up to 25 percent of all dine-in and carry-out orders during that time will be donated to Community Housing Improvement Program, Inc. Please be sure to mention CHIP at time of checkout.
A representative from Congressman Doug LaMalfa’s office will present a certificate to CHIP for its 45 years of service to the community. CHIP began as a housing rehab nonprofit in Chico in 1973 and has expanded over the years to construct self-help (sweat equity) housing, develop and manage affordable multifamily apartments, provide service-enriched programs to rental residents, and build and enhance communities.
CHIP will celebrate its anniversary with a few events throughout the year, culminating in the fourth annual Rock the House fundraiser at Sierra Nevada Big Room in the fall.
