The head of household must earn a minimum of $5,752.50 from agriculturally based employment and must have eligible immigration status. Annual household income must be at or below 30%, 45% or 50% of Area Median Income, depending on unit designation. A credit check will be performed at the time of application.

Rent is based on a percentage of adjusted gross income as they are subsidized by USDA.
