Maple Park Senior Apartments Hosts Dedication Ceremony

LIVE OAK, CA— On June 22 CHIP, Regional Housing Authority of Sutter and Nevada Counties and the City of Live Oak held a dedication ceremony for Maple Park Senior Apartments.
More than 100 people attended, including residents, partners, the development team and members of local government. Gus Becerra of RHASNC emceed the event, which included lunch and property tours.
Maple Park Senior Apartments is a joint effort among Community Housing Improvement Program (CHIP), the Regional Housing Authority of Sutter and Nevada Counties (RHASNC) and the City of Live Oak. Award-winning architects Mogavero Notestine & Associates designed the project and Sunseri Construction was the general contractor. The structure is GreenPoint Rated Platinum by Build It Green.
This new 35-unit apartment community is for low- and very low-income seniors, 55 years or older; the community opened in April and all units are currently filled.
Community Housing Improvement Program
CHIP is a private, non-profit corporation providing quality affordable self-help housing, rental apartment communities and housing-related services to seven Northern California counties. The organization has built more than 2,000 housing units in the North Valley since 1973.
