CA State Treasurer Fiona Ma hears about housing needs from Redding developers, advocates

The state's top banker, California State Treasurer Fiona Ma, appeared in Redding on Thursday as part of a 10-city "Listening Tour" to hear about what can be done to fortify the region's housing financing needs.

"What we're really trying to do is come and assess what your needs are in your community," Ma told the audience, which included Shasta County government officials, developers, a representative from a Native American tribe, unionized skilled tradespeople and housing advocates for the elderly and low-income.
